All participants will abide by all Ontario Fishing regulations. A derby entry does not replace a valid fishing license.

Please view the Rules & Regulations. Anglers will be asked to sign a liability waiver at time of registration.

A "Reel in the Ride!" draw ticket allows participation in Pike Ice Fishing Derby. Must be 18+ to purchase a draw ticket as per the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario's Lottery Licence Terms and Conditions. Minors can still participate in the Derby and win the skill-based prizes.

Pike Ice Fishing Derby Prizes
Fish must be minimum 24" to get on the leaderboard. The fish will be weighted and measured. Our volunteers will be gutting the fish to ensure integrity of the competition. The successful anglers will then be registered on the leaderboard accordingly.​​

Returned Sticks Incentive Draw
Get the chance to win a $500 Gift Card!
Each angler is given (2) 24" sticks at registration. Each stick must be assigned to a fishing hole. Every stick returned at the end of the derby by 5:30 p.m. on February 7th, 2026 will be entered in the Returned Sticks Incentive Draw for a $500 gift card.
Prize Presentation will be live at the Community Hall (Chapleau Recreation Centre) and streamed online via Facebook Live “Pike Ice Fishing Derby” page, at 7:30 p.m.
